BALLYBANE RESIDENT FINED FOR ASSAULT ON CITY TAXI DRIVER

A 47 year old Croation man has been convicted and fined 300 euro for assaulting a taxi driver in the city in 2010.

Vlado Arsic with an address at 147 Coille Mhuirlinne, Ballybane appeared before Galway District Court where he handed over 1 thousand euro in compensation.

Compensation from the married father of two was refused by the injured party and given to the court poor box following an order by judge Aeneas McCarthy.
