BALLINASLOE TOWN ROAD CLOSURE BLAMED FOR JOB LOSSES

Part of the exit road from Main Street in Ballinasloe to Bridge Street will remain a one-way system for some time.

At this week's meeting of the Town Council, it was revealed that businesses in the town are angry at the part-closure and say it has impacted negatively on business activity.

Town engineer, Adrian Head, said that the hidden arch at the old river channel is structurally unsafe and has to be repaired.
