A NEW amenity park was opened in Ballinasloe yesterday afternoon (Friday) by Mayor Carmel Grealy.

This is the third such park that she has officially opened in the town in as many months.

The one-acre Bethany Park at Poolboy was donated to Ballinasloe Town Council by local woman Miss Betty Ring as well as a generous donation towards its 50,000 Euro construction costs.
