AVIVA TO CREATE 220 JOBS IN GALWAY

The jobs are expected to be based at the call centre in Knocknacarra, through the opening of a new insurance claims and direct sales centres of excellence for Ireland and UK.
Recruitment will begin this Summer, bringing the Galway workforce to over 400.
After announcing 950 job cuts in October, the company says a maximum of 540 jobs will be lost across Dublin, Cork and Galway and they'll be on a voluntary basis.
Management will speak with employees today to outline these details in full.
