ATHENRY MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO POSSESSION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY

A 63-year-old Athenry man will be sentenced in May for having child pornography on his computer.
Joe Dennison, Moanbaun, Athenry, pleaded guilty before Galway Circuit Criminal Court to the possession at his home in May 2010, of 550 pictures and ten videos of children involved in explicit sexual activity.
Judge Rory McCabe adjourned sentence to May 28th next.
