ARRIVAL OF HEROIN IN GALWAY ALARMING SAYS GARDA

The arrival of heroin on the streets of Galway city is 'very alarming’ a Garda Inspector commented at Galway District Court this week.Before the court was Roman Pecha, a native of the Czech Republic, with an address at 35 Gort na Bró, Western Distributor Road.He pleaded guilty to having €40 of heroin in his possession when his car was stopped and searched in the city on February 20, last year.
