Approval for new consultants clinic at Bons Secours hospital
Galway Bay fm newsroom - The City Council has given approval for the expansion of the endoscopy unit at the Bons Secours Hospital in Renmore.
The development includes the demolition of the Gate Lodge and a concrete yard.
The extension to the Bons Secours Endoscopy unit will include a new single-storey consultants' clinic, two clinic suites, a reception and waiting area.
It'll also involve works to the main entrance and changes to the entrance boundary wall at the hospital.
City planners have imposed 9 conditions on the expansion work, including that landscaping for the site must be implemented within 3 months of the completion of the new clinic.
