Application to extend planning permission for works at UHG acute mental health unit

Galway Bay fm newsroom – An application has been lodged to extend permission for works at an acute adult mental unit at UHG. BAM Contractors are seeking to extend permission previously granted for the development on Newcastle Road. The works consist of one additional three-storey stair core and one additional two storey lift core and lobby. City planners are due to make a decision in July.
