ANTI HOUSEHOLD CHARGE MEETING IN ATHENRY

The issue of Household and water charges will be the focus of a meeting in Athenry tonight.

Members of the Campaign Against the Household and Water Taxes group will gather to discuss the reminder letters being sent by the office of the Minister for the Environment to the homes of those who have not yet registered for the charge .

The meeting will be in Keanes bar, Athenry at 8.

Tonight's event comes before the groups national protest on July 18 at Dail Eireann.
