ANGRY EXCHANGES BETWEEN PROTESTORS AND COUNCILLORS AT CITY HALL

There've been angry exchanges between Socialist protestors and a Labour city councillor outside City Hall this evening.

Nine people including members of the Socialist Workers Party protested with placards outside the City Chamber as Councillors arrived for the annual budget meeting.

The protestors shouted 'Shame on Labour' as the Labour councillors walked into the building.

Labour Cllr Billy Cameron hit back at the protestors, claiming he has a mandate from the people to vote as he sees fit.
