AN BORD PLEANALA REFUSES EXPANSION TO CASTLEGAR DEVELOPMENT

A bid to increase the number of residential units in a new estate planned for Castlegar has been refused by An Bord Pleanala.Joe Joyce of Cahermorris Developments in Corrundulla wanted to include an extra 27 units on top of the 57 houses and apartments he has the go ahead for.Galway city council turned down the plans to include the extra 27 housing units saying they would be out of character with the area.
