ALMOST 600 FORMER OFFENDERS GIVEN NEW START IN GALWAY

Almost 600 former offenders have been placed in education, training and employment in Galway since the inception of the national linkage programme in 2000.The linkage programme, which has helped over 3 thousand ex-offenders to date, finds an employment path which is both achievable and sustainable.Head of the linkage programme, Paddy Richardson says the programme gives ex offenders skills to pursue a better future.
