AHASCRASGH PRIEST SETTLES RTE DEFAMATION CASE

RTE has apologised in the High Court to Ahascragh priest Fr Kevin Reynolds for grossly defaming him.

The State broadcaster falsely alleged that he raped and fathered the child of a teenage girl in Kenya.

RTÉ admits the Prime Time Investigates programme 'Mission to Prey' should never have aired last May.

It's understood the case has been settled.
