ADMINISTRATOR TO BE APPOINTED AT CITY GAMING STORE GROUP
Date Published: 21-Mar-2012
An administrator is to be sought at computer game retailer GAME, which has a store in the city centre.
The UK group has its Galway base on Eglington Street and also has stores in Athlone, Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Monaghan.
It employs over 10 thousand people worldwide.
A statement from the Game group says talks with banks and other interested parties have failed to provide a solvent solution for the business.
It adds that the stores will continue to trade while discussions continue with its lenders and third parties.
