70 PERCENT OF GALWAY RESIDENTS CUT BACK ON DENTAL VISITS

Almost 70 percent of Galway residents have cut back on dental visits.

That's according to figures compiled by dental insurance provider Dentalcover.ie

The study finds that just 29 percent of Galway participants attend the dentist once a year.

Ger Gavin, Chief Dental Officer with the group says the Galway figures were marginally worse that those noted nationally.
