50 CRYPTOSPORIDIUM CASES IN HSE WEST SO FAR THIS YEAR

50 cases of cryptosporidiosis have been diagnosed in the HSE West region so far this year
That's according to figures recorded from January to the end of May by the Health Protection Surveillance Centre
The HSE says there is no outbreak of cryptosporidiosis and a spike in cases is often recorded in that period of the year.
Nationally, there are 61 more cases in that period for 2012 than 2011.
