34 jobs created at city medical device company
34 new jobs have been created at a city based medical device company.
Avant medical which has a manufacturing plant in Parkmore industrial estate provides products such as vascular balloon, stent and guide wire packaging.
The company is investing, with Government assistance, 2.4 million in a major development programme.
It will see the company expand its production capabilities and move to higher value proucts and services.
The 34 new jobs will be created between now and 2016, and will bring total employment in Advant medical to over 130.
