28 Galway schools to benefit from Summer Works Scheme
Galway Bay fm newsroom - 28 schools across Galway are to receive funding under the Government's summer works scheme.21 primary schools in areas such as Tuam, Kilcolgan and Loughrea, and 7 secondary schools in locations including the city and Clifden will benefit from the funds.
It's part of a 36 million euro fund for 386 schools provided by the Department of Education for three categories of projects - gas, electrical and mechanical.The works will also benefit local construction companies who will be involved in carrying out the improvements which will be scheduled for the summer months.
