Date Published: 27-Apr-2012

Students will be able to attend secondary school in Claregalway next year.

That's according to Galway West TD Derek Nolan, who says a new temporary building will be constructed for pupils enrolling in September 2013.

The location and the patronage of the school has yet to be disclosed but it's understood the Department of Education is considering several options.

Construction of a permanent school building is expected to begin in 2014 / 2015.

There are over 1700 children attending primary schools in Claregalway and surrounding areas.
