200 NEW JOBS PROPOSED IN NEW GALWAY HARBOUR

The 200 million euro redevelopment of the Docks in Galway city could create more than 200 jobs.

Galway City Council was briefed on the proposals by Galway Harbour Board at a meeting in City Hall last night and it was supported by the majority of councillors.

The development is due to be completed in two phases, with final completion in 2019.
