Consultants have begun assessing the publics views on Galway's Public Transport system. 13 submissions were made to the city council's Transportation Unit in relation to it's study on the city's future public transport options. The public comments centred on various possible services for the city such as Light Rail, Bus Rapid Transit and Park and Ride facilities. Head of the City Transportation Unit Joe Tansey says the 13 submissions are now being assessed by consultants.
