100 CITY FAMILIES TO BE SUBJECT OF EDUCATION STUDY

Over one hundred city families are to be the focus of a new research project by the School of Geography at NUIG.Researchers from the University will travel to Knocknacarra, Menlo, Ballybane and the city centre to collect data and information over the coming weeks.The survey will concentrate on parents and secondary-school pupils and will ask participants for their views on facilities in residential areas and their experiences of local schools. The information collected will help ensure positive educational experiences from home, schools and communities in Galway.
