More than €2m for Galway disadvantaged areas
Galway Bay fm newsroom - More than two million euro has been allocated to groups in Galway under the Local and Community Development Programme.
Almost 900 thousand euro has been sanctioned for Galway Rural Development Company Limited.A further 750 thousand euro will go to Galway City Partnership Limited, while Comhar na nOileán Teoranta has been allocated almost 530 thousand euro.A further 227 thousand euro has been sanctioned for Forum Connemara Limited.The Local and Community Development Programme tackles poverty and social exclusion in disadvantaged communities.
