MAJOR CHANGE OF POLICY AND PRICING IN ADMITTING CHILDREN TO GALWAY RACES

Date Published: 16-Jul-2012

There has been a major change to the policy and pricing of admitting children to the Galway Races in Ballybrit

Children under 16 accompanied by a parent or guardian will be admitted through a designated turnstile free of charge

However, the 2 euro admission stile for children under 14 is being removed

The move is being seen as encouraging the practise of children under 16 being accompanied by an adult at the races

Children under 14 will still be admitted to the racecourse but will be charged the student rate of 10 euros or 15 euros depending on the day in question
