Renault is at it again with another addition to the Mégane family. This time they are expanding the range with the introduction of a four-door version – the new Mégane Grand Coupé. This model completes Renault’s offering in the C-segment and strengthens the brand’s position in Ireland, where compact saloons remain the preferred choice for comfort and space.

Space is a major selling point and the generous dimensions (4.63m long and 1.81m wide, with a record wheelbase in its class of 2.71m) give it an imposing presence and provide additional space and comfort for occupants. The wheelbase has been extended by 42mm to give even more legroom in the back.

It has a coupé-like silhouette and proportions that make it stand out as Renault’s designers seamlessly incorporated 550 litres of boot storage. That is even bigger than the Fluence and with wheel sizes up to 18 inches on the top-level Signature trim the all-new Mégane Grand Coupe has a 1.57m front and rear track – the widest in its class.

A unique feature in the compact saloon category, higher-end versions of the new Mégane Grand Coupé are available with a panoramic sliding glass roof that fills the cabin with natural light front and rear. From the outside, the panoramic roof forms a link between the windscreen and the rear window to add a further touch of elegance and refinement to the design of the new Mégane Grand Coupé.

Obviously, it shares many styling features with its five-door sibling, including its lighting signature which is visible night and day with the front C-shaped lighting signature features LED 3D-effect light guides. The Signature version of the all-new Mégane Grand Coupé is equipped with full LED (LED Pure Vision technology) headlights complete with automatic main/dipped beams. The permanently-lit rear LED lights form a unique horizontal 3D-effect signature featuring Edge Light technology.

The cabin offers a generous level of space for the driver and passengers alike thanks to a longer wheel base.
