LATVIAN REMANDED IN CUSTODY OVER CLAREGALWAY CRASH

A 40 year old Latvian man, involved in a crash at the weekend which left three people seriously injured in hospital, has been remanded in custody.
Romans Rinavas, of 7 na Cleagga, Ballybrit, appeared before Galway District Court yesterday charged with drunken driving at Lydican, Claregalway last Sunday.
