GARDAI RULE OUT FOUL PLAY IN CARNA MARINE CENTRE FIRE

Gardai have ruled out foul play in the fire which destroyed the Marine Research Centre at Mweenish in Carna over the weekend. The NUI Galway building was gutted by the blaze at 6am on Saturday. Garda forensic experts from Millstreet Garda station have made preliminary examinations and are satisfied the fire broke out by accident.
