Garda Ombudsman inquiry into allegation against Galway garda

Galway Bay fm newsroom - The Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission is investigating a complaint made against a garda in Galway.A 26 year old woman, who was the victim of an assault, claims that the garda lied to her on several occasions that her case was scheduled for court.According to today's Irish Independent, the mother-of-one says she discovered that none of the hearings had ever been scheduled.She claims she was assaulted by 3 women in Galway in September 2009.
