Galway initiative to help children in Gaza as conflict continues

Galway Bay fm newsroom – An initiative to provide material assistance to the children of Gaza will take place in the city next week. ‘Toys for Gaza' is appealing to the people of Galway to donate toys as well as childrens' clothes, books, schoolbags and other items that could help children affected by the ongoing conflict. The event will take place in Monroes Tavern on Dominick Streeet in the city on bank holiday Monday afternoon from 1 until 5. Organiser Noeleen Healy says the collection is part of a wider initiative taking place across Ireland and the UK.
