DROP IN GALWAY RATE OF INSOLVENCIES

The rate of insolvencies in Galway so far this month is down 63 percent when compared to February 2012.
That's according to the latest data from Vision-Net, which records three insolvencies in Galway this month, compared to 8 last year.
The trend is mirrored nationally with 140 businesses going under this month, compared to 184 in February 2012.
38 new companies are recorded for Galway this month and 132 new business registrations.
