DEREK NOLAN CHALLENGED TO PUBLIC DEBATE ON PROPERTY TAX

A public debate on property tax and the austerity programme will be held in the city on Monday (Feb 11).

Organisers from Galway's campaign against household and water tax have challenged Labour TD Derek Nolan to take part in the discussion.

Invites have also been issued to other local government TDs and councillors.

The event takes place in the Harbour Hotel this day week (Feb 11) and gets underway at 8pm.

Galway West Deputy Derek Nolan says he is unable to attend due to previous commitments.
