Demoted Ciaran Cannon puzzled by decision to leave Galway without a minister

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Demoted Galway East TD Ciaran Cannon says it's highly unusual that the economic engine of the west coast no longer has ministerial representation. The former Minister of State in the Department of Education lost his position this afternoon in the second tier government reshuffle. He says there must be some logic behind the Taoiseach's decision to leave County Galway, with a population of half a million people, without a minister. Deputy Cannon told FYI Galway the move won't change his focus on techonolgy and innovation.
