A county councillor has described as 'unbelievable' the fact that UHG authorities haven't even acknowledged his letters outlining a proposal to make parking easier for hospital outpatients. Oranmore cllr Jim Cuddy wrote to University Hospital Galway Manager Bridget Howley on April 19th and again on May 27th with a proposal to reserve a portion of the hospital carpark for outpatients. He believes reserved parking would make visits to the hospital less stressful on the elderly and the disabled. But no one ever replied to his letters. Cllr Cuddy is shocked at the lack of response of UHG authorities
