The new traffic lights in Claregalway have intensified, health, safety and amenity issues for residents in the area. That's according to the Claregalway Inner Relief Road Campaign, which says there is now a much greater concentration of traffic in the village than there was previously.Local residents are angry over claims of a delay in providing an inner relief road due to the requirement for an Environmental Impact Statement. They say that the local Council and Government should stop complaining about delays and "get on with it".Spokesperson for the Claregalway group, Madeline Flanagan says there is no point in talking about delays, when the project has not even started.
