City march this evening in support of Palestinians

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Concerned Galway people will march in the city this evening (14/7) in solidarity with Palestinians. The Palestine Solidarity Society is organising the march from Eyre Square to the Spanish Arch at 5 o' clock this evening. The marchers will also visit the offices of Galway West Labour T.D Derek Nolan and Fine Gael T.D Brian Walsh. They'll hand over letters of protest calling for the expulsion of the Israeli ambassador to Ireland. Meanwhile, reports from Gaza claim over 180 people have now lost their lives in a major Israeli offensive. Today marks the 7th day of airstrikes in the area in retaliation for the firing of Hamas rockets over the border into Israel.
