CITY MAN CHARGED UNDER OPERATION FOOLSCAP IS HOSPITALISED

One of the men arrested as part of an investigation into organised crime in the city has been hospitalised.

Due to his injuries, 25-year-old Joseph Crawford with an address at 47 Corrach Buí, Rahoon was unable to make an appearance before Galway District Court.

It follows an alleged assault in the city on Hallowe'en night.

Joseph Crawford is charged with entering Kostello's in Knocknacarra as a trespasser to commit burglary on March 21st.
