CITY COUNCIL SLAMMED FOR HOUSING LOAN PROPOSAL

Galway City Council is belittling the ongoing housing crisis with vague and incomprehensive plans according to Cllr. Catherine Connolly.A number of councillors were baffled at a meeting last night by a hazy request from the council to raise a major loan of €11 million for the purchase of lands at the Ballymoneen road.After much discussion it was agreed to adjourn the matter until more information is available
