Gort company takes international award
A Gort-based company has been awarded for being a ‘Supplier of the Year’ at a recent conference in Geneva, Switzerland.
Lisk Ireland was presented the prestigious award by Stephane Guelat, Head of Strategic Procurement at Eaton`s Hydraulic Group, which provides hydraulic power.
Lisk Ireland were given the award for their “faultless commitment to providing Eaton Hydraulics with tailored solutions to meet our customers’ hydraulic needs,” said Stephane Guelat. “We look forward to continuing this longstanding relationship, working alongside Lisk Ireland for many years to come.”
Eaton’s Supplier of the Year accolade is awarded to the top five companies from a total of 4,000 that supply to Eaton worldwide, ensuring only those that achieve the highest levels of performance and exceed Eaton’s rigorous standards are considered. Not only is the award presented to companies for ensuring top quality performance and delivery, but also for showing other innovative practices, such as contingency planning, expanded global presence and supporting localization within their country.
Lisk Ireland achieved zero defects and 100% on time delivery, which put the firm in the frontline for winning this award. As well as this impeccable production and delivery time, a huge part of Lisk Ireland’s success came from its recent expansion of product ranges in specialised applications, such as proportional feedback solenoid solution, solenoids for transmission and engine controls. This ties in with a key component of Lisk Ireland’s strategic development plan, which includes continued global expansion and development of its product range. This award has subsequently enhanced the company’s recognition on the global market and is reflective that Lisk Ireland is moving forward in line with its development strategy.
Commenting on winning the Eaton Supplier of the Year award, John Tully, Managing Director of Lisk Ireland said: “It is a great honour for Lisk Ireland to win this award in competition with 4,000 world class suppliers to Eaton. This prestigious award is a tribute to the hard work, dedication and commitment of all of our employees, some of whom have been with the company for over 30 years.”
