Burkes bus may expand workforce
Galway Bay fm newsroom - Private bus company Burkes Bus could increase its workforce if new services prove successful.
The company which travels between Tuam and Galway City, has added a 6.10 and 7.30 am bus run to its schedule from Monday.
Pat Burke says more workers now travel from Galway to jobs in Tuam, to the Valeo plant in the town in particular, while people from Tuam are starting early shifts in Galway factories or taking early trains or buses to Dublin
He added if these runs prove successful the company will be looking into increasing its workforce.
