880 GALWAY COMPANIES BENEFIT FROM SKILLNETS TRAINING

Over three thousand Galway people have benefited from Skillnets training programmes across the city and county.

Supported by both the Government and private companies, the project attracted a 12 million euro investment from the National Training Fund and 10.5 million from companies last year.

According to Skillnets annual report, 880 Galway companies took part in training programmes with 3,240 trainees in 2011.
