150 NEW JOBS FOR ATHENRY

A significant jobs announcement is to be made for Cashla Athenry later this morning (15/7).

Taoiseach Enda Kenny will announce approximately 150 new jobs when visits 'C and F Green Energy Limited' wind turbine manufacturing plant.

C and F Manufacturing Group has its base in Cashla and supplies micro wind turbines mainly to the UK market.

However, the company hopes to expand the supply into the European market.

C and F also has a car components manufacturing plant in the Midlands and manufacturing plants in China, the Philippines, the Czech Republic and the UK.
